The Mayor’s Medals

The Mayor formally recognised Cllrs Nia Day and Jane Brunning for their exceptional leadership, dedication and hard work in delivering Hungerford's successful Britain in Bloom 2026 application. Their efforts played a key role in bringing the community together and showcasing the very best of the town, with judges praising both the breadth of projects undertaken and the high standards achieved.

Olly Kelly – with thanks for all his efforts

The Mayor also presented a well-deserved award to Olly in recognition of his bravery and swift actions in helping to provide CPR to a gentleman on Hungerford Common. Hungerford Town Council would like to formally thank Olly for going above and beyond in an emergency situation, demonstrating exceptional courage and community spirit.
