TG Jones & Post Office Closing update

TG Jones is unfortunately closing its store. The actual date for this has not yet been confirmed. As a consequence, the Post Office will also need to close. The closing date for the Post Office has also not been confirmed but we were informed that it is likely to be early 2027. The Post Office remain committed to restoring a replacement branch in the area and have already taken proactive steps to invite expressions of interest and have received a few potential applicants.

Hungerford Town Council understand the concern that this will raise within the community and will make every available effort to ensure the very best result is achieved for the town and its residents. As soon as we have any further news this will be publicised.
